What do you need to sort out before and after the birth?

In short

Before the birth you clarify supplementary insurance, leave and liability.

After the birth you register your child with the health insurer within three months and apply for the family allowance. In the first year you check whether your family is protected on death or disability. Tick off what is done.

Why a checklist?

In the weeks around the birth you have other things on your mind. Most deadlines are generous, but one is important. If you do not register your child with the health insurer within three months, it is only insured from the time of registration.
