In short. We only collect data anonymously. We only receive your email address if you give it to us. This is a translation of the German privacy notice. The German version prevails.

What we collect anonymously

We count which pages are read so that we can improve the site for you. We do not learn who you are. For this we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited. The data can also reach the USA. Your browser loads a script from Google for this. Google then learns your IP address.

In Switzerland the measurement runs with cookies until you decline. If you visit the site from the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom, Google sets no cookies without your consent and only sends counting signals. With your yes the full measurement starts.

When you open the site, technical data such as the IP address can also arise at the host Infomaniak in Switzerland. We do not evaluate it.

Language setting

When you open the home page, the web server reads the language setting of your browser to show you the site in your language. We do not store it. If you switch the language yourself, your browser stores this choice for one year in a small cookie called vw-lang. It only serves to show you the site in your language and does not identify you.

Your email address

You give us your address voluntarily when you join the waiting list. We only use it to inform you when the newsletter starts or when there is new content that might interest you. We only do this if you have expressly agreed.

We store your address, the time, the text of your consent and the language of the page on which you signed up on our server at Infomaniak in Switzerland. We do not store your IP address in doing so. We do not sell your address and do not pass it on.

You can withdraw your consent at any time and ask us to delete your address. To do so, write to us at the contact address in the legal notice.

Partner offers

We reserve the right to show offers from partners later. We will label such offers clearly as partner offers and separate them from the explanations. We do not pass on your data for this. The only exception is if it is strictly necessary for an offer and you have expressly agreed beforehand.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for information about your data, have it corrected or deleted. The person named in the legal notice is responsible.
